My story
Hello!
I'm Natasha, an artist, and designer for people who love abstract and geometric design.
I studied Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone,Dundee,Scotland and in France at the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Nantes. Since graduating in 2013, with a First Class BA degree, I have been working as a professional artist developing my practice of painting and screen printing. I work with exciting colour palettes and create weightless, clean compositions. My explorations in colour have led me through a palette of muted tones with flashes of vivid highlights to give depth, light and shade. I use geometric patterns, dramatic angles and contrasting colours for a contemporary edge.
My work has been showcased in group and solo exhibitions, and most notably, was selected and sold at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2017 in London.
In 2018/19, my ’Connected Landscapes' collection of large scale paintings inspired by Scottish landscapes, was commissioned and showcased by Perth Art Gallery and Museum.
My paintings capture the essence of a city, place, location or moment into an artwork; from Medina, the Moroccan inspired series to Skønneste Områder, influenced by visits to Scandinavia.
My prints and cards, like my artwork, are designed for those that love something a little bit different!
